The Air Jordan 1 Black Toe is one of the original colorways of the Chicago Bulls, but surprisingly, Michael Jordan rarely wears it. Originally released in 1985, the Black Toe AJ1 was the now iconic shoe worn in the photograph that inspired the Jumpman logo. With the exception of a handful of photos of MJ wearing a Black Toe Jordan 1, there are only a handful of games in which Michael Jordan wears this colorway. Coming in a palette of white, black, and red, Black Toes is one of the most popular releases, both original and vintage. The Black Toe Air Jordan 1 has been released several times over the years, with the “OG” version with the Nike Air branding emblazoned on the tongue and insole being the most popular. The 2016 Air Jordan 1 Black Toe features the Nike Air branding and sold out quickly upon release.
